Pumpkin Protein Waffle


I was googling this recipe and nothing came up right away so I thought I’d share with you on my blog! I just wanted a simple recipe that didn’t involve a lot of carbs.  I normally make my protein waffle with banana but I wanted to mix it up a bit.

Super Easy!

1/4 cup of egg whites

1/4 cup of pumpkin puree

1 scoop of vanilla protein

Dash of cinnamon

Mix it up and put in the waffle maker! And that’s it!  You could probably add pumpkin pie spice to it too but I didn’t get too crazy.  I topped mine with a  little dried pumpkin snack that I had bought from Whole Foods awhile ago but I bet a little coconut oil would be good on it as well.  Or almond butter…everything is better with almond butter.
